Since 1947, the Delta Delta Lambda Chapter (DDL) of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has continued to uphold the Fraternity's goals and objectives.
For 75 years, DDL has been active in Palm Beach County's communal aspects through its aims of Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for all Mankind. DDL has proven to be first in many parts of the clergy, athletics, education, judicial, and civil professions over this period.
In 1922, the fraternity identifies the black male crisis of low academics and creates the slogan "Go-to-High-School, Go-to-College" program. DDL continues the tradition through our Men of Tomorrow (MOT) program. MOT offers a rigorous yet rich experience concentrating on the importance of completing secondary and collegiate education as a road to academic advancement. Examples are hands-on tutoring of the core subjects, communal activities, and college visitations. These actions yield high results Since 1987 our High School graduation rate of 100% from 1760 black male students!
The fraternity's National Programs are community outreach mentoring initiatives used by the organization's governing body and mandated for implementation by all of its chapters.
